As a volunteer on our race crew, you’ll play an integral role in the success of the event and support runners every step of the way from start to finish. Plus, you’ll get the chance to connect with other volunteers, meet new people, and have tons of fun in the process. We want you to feel confident as a volunteer, so here’s everything you need to know!

General Times for Course Volunteers

Race Day Starting Line:
Where: Breckenridge Brewery/Reynold’s Landing Trailhead
When: 5:00 am – 8:00 am

Race Day Course Marshals:
Where: Along the Course
When: Time Depends on Location (details will be provided)

Race Day Finish Line:
Where: Breckenridge Brewery/Reynold’s Landing Trailhead
When: 5:00 am – 8:00 am; 7:00 am – 10:00 am; and 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

How to Join Our Race Day Crew

Getting involved as a volunteer is easy and rewarding! Simply follow the link to become a volunteer and we’ll be in touch to assign you to your preferred volunteer station.

We’ll also provide all the training and support you need to feel confident and prepared on race day.

Join the Fun at Our Pre- and Post-Race Parties

All volunteers are invited to a pre-race information party at Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton the Thursday before the race, where you’ll meet other volunteers and receive all the details you need to confidently manage your station.

Volunteers are also welcome to celebrate their hard work and the runners’ achievements at the post-race celebration hosted at Breckenridge Brewery right after the event. Here, you’ll enjoy free craft beer, hard seltzer, a delicious lunch, live music, games, and Colorado sunshine as you celebrate with participants and sponsors alike.

What to Know About Volunteering

We want to make sure you feel comfortable and prepared for the big day. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
Primary Parking: The main parking area is at the Breckenridge Brewery parking lot, which is marked with directions for runners, volunteers, and vendors.
Start/Finish Line: The race starts promptly at 7:00 am at Reynold’s Landing trailhead parking lot near Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton. Finish line support will close at 10:30 a.m. with a pace of 13:45/mile.
Additional Information: The Platte River Trail is a multi-use trail and will be open to other exercise enthusiasts during the race, so please be respectful of their use of the trail.
Cupless Racing: We’re proud to operate a cupless race system, thanks to our sponsor at HydraPak! All participants will be given a complimentary collapsable HydraPak Speed Cup during packet pickup to clip, carry, and stash during the race.
